(i) Includes three principal officers, one administrative officer and one executive officer on loan to other Departments; two administrative officers on special leave without pay; one executive officer attending school of public administration; and 37 higher executive officers on loan from other Departments.
(ii) Salary (minimum and maximum of scale except for secretary and deputy secretary who have a flat rate). In general (A) applies to unmarried men and unmarried women and (B) applies to married men (including widowers) and married women (including widows).
(iii) The clerical assistant grade, formerly an all-female grade, is now open to male and female applicants. The salary scale will apply to all officers in the grade married or single, male or female.
