It has been decided to erect a new 16 classroom junior co-educational school at Captains Hill, Leixlip. My Department are at present awaiting sketch plans from the board of management architect. A grant-in-aid will be sanctioned when satisfactory evidence of title to the site and an estimate of cost are available. At this stage it is not possible to state when the new school will be built.

asked the Minister for Education when it is proposed to provide facilities at Leixlip, Country Kildare, for adult education.
Adult education facilities for the Leixlip area are at present available at the nearby Maynooth vocational school. Such facilities would also be available in the proposed new community school in Leixlip.
