It is expected that the Southern Health Board will be in a position to invite tenders for the planned ten-bed extension to Bantry County Hospital in February 1980.
Tenders have been invited for the building of a nine-bed extension to Castletownbere District Hospital. Work on the scheme is expected to commence early in the New Year.
No proposals are before my Department in respect of the extension of Schull Hospital.
