Progress is slightly behind target an some areas of the project but it is expected that the major portion of the work will be finished by end 1980 as scheduled. Acoustic and environmental tests will then be carried out and any necessary adjustments made before the works are fully completed and handed over early in 1981.
What works are behind schedule? Has it anything to do with RTE in regard to electronic fittings? What section is being held up?
The delay is mainly due to inclement weather and to the reprogramming of noisy work to avoid interference with university lectures.
