asked the Minister for the Environment if he will approve the commencement of the Lisheen Group Water Scheme, County Cork.

Cork County Council have approved the design of this scheme subject to modification regarding increased pipe sizes to cater for future development in the area. An application from the council for a special contribution to cover the cost of the increased pipe sizes is at present under examination in my Department.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will approve the commencement of the Snave-Ardnagoshel Group Water Scheme, Bantry, County Cork.

A proposal by Cork County Council to make a special contribution towards the cost of headworks for this scheme was received in my Department on the 22 May 1980 and is at present under examination. It is hoped to give a decision in the matter shortly.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will give early sanction to the group water scheme for Tullowmacjames, Templetuohy, Thurles, County Tipperary.

Grants totalling £1,700 have been allocated by my Department to this group water scheme and a special contribution of £1,200, payable by Tipperary (NR) County Council, has recently been approved. Work on the scheme may now commence provided the necessary insurances and road opening licences have been taken out.
