(a) The price shown is the price per tonne for domestic housecoal sold by CDL to customers in Dublin.
(b) The maximum retail price for turf briquettes is controlled by order made by the Minister for Trade, Commerce and Tourism. No formal control is exercised over delivery charge.
(c) There is no formal control over the retail price and the delivered price of sod peat. The prices shown which have been ascertained from inquiries are the average delivered prices and ex works price.
(d) Average conversion factors related to the calorific values of the fuels have been used to arrive at the coal equivalent prices.
