I would refer the Deputy to my statement of 22 February 1983, in which it is proposed to make arrangements for the exemption of certain junior cycle pupils whose parents would face particular hardship in meeting the charge and for whom the use of school transport is essential to enable them to make satisfactory school attendance.
The position of the pupil in question will be considered under these arrangements.
