I have no application from Wexford Corporation for an allocation for repairs to sub-standard corporation housing in Wexford town.
It is, however, open to the corporation to apply to my Department for an allocation to enable them to carry out works to their rented housing stock under the terms of the scheme for the financing of improvement works to local authority houses. Eligible works under this scheme include the provision of water and sewerage facilities, bathrooms and the provision of extensions to relieve overcrowding.
