I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that reviews of the taxpayer's liability for the years 1981-82 and 1982-83, to include mortgage interest relief due, have been made by the inspector of taxes. Cheques for the resultant overpayments were issued to the taxpayer on 20 April 1983 and 1 June 1983, respectively.
