I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that a refund of tax on the grounds of unemployment was made to the taxpayer on 3 August 1983, in respect of the period 6 to 31 May 1983. The taxpayer indicated last August that she has taken up new employment and, therefore, the making of any further tax refund to her in respect of the current year is a matter for the present employer.
