asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a telephone service will be provided for a person (details supplied) in Dublin 12 as he is disabled and lives alone.

Service will be provided for the person named as soon as possible but it is unlikely that the necessary engineering work will be completed for about six months. I very much regret the delay in providing telephones. However, by the end of 1984 the vast majority of telephone applications will be met on demand.

It is expected that telephone service will be provided for the person named within about six months. I very much regret the delay. However, by the end of 1984 the vast majority of telephone applications will be met on demand.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a telephone service will be provided for a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary.

A survey is being carried out to ascertain when service can be provided for the person named. The applicant will be advised of the result of the survey as soon as it is completed.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will arrange to have the telephone bill which was issued to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny investigated, as a matter of urgency, in view of the fact that he was overcharged and that the operator on duty on the particular occasion was aware of the overcharge.

According to my Department's records, this subscriber was not overcharged. He was not charged for the call in question. Particulars of the operator assisted calls for which he was charged in his July-September 1983 account have been sent to him.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a telephone will be provided for a person (details supplied) in Dublin 5 as the necessary cabling work has already been done.

Service will be provided for the person named as soon as it is possible to do so. However, some cabling work remains to be done before the application can be met. It is expected that service will be provided during the first half of next year.

It is expected that service will be provided for the institution named within about two months.

Service has been restored on one of the firm's two telephone lines. It is expected to restore service on the second line within a few days.
