Limerick East): The detailed deployment of Garda manpower is a matter for the Garda authorities who have informed me that the current Garda strength at Ballyfermot station is the maximum that can be provided at present having regard to overall resources and other demands on Garda services. There are no proposals at present to assign additional manpower to Ballyfermot but the matter will be kept under review according as the recruit gardaí now in training become available for assignment.
