Limerick East): The only person appointed by the Government to an organisation under my aegis since the 1 January 1983 was Eighneachán Uas. Ó Laighin, who was appointed on 7 July 1983 to the Irish Legal Terms Advisory Committee. An tUas. Ó Laighin is a civil servant in the Oireachtas Translation Office. He does not receive any additional remuneration by virtue of his appointment to the committee.
