asked the Minister for Agriculture the reason for the delay in paying grants which are due under the calf scheme and the in calf heifer scheme to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry; and when they will be paid having regard to the fact that his neighbours were paid their grants last December.

The person named will be paid calf premium in due course when the batch which includes his payment is processed. As this payment is being made with many others there is no particular delay in this case.
He has been paid his 1983 calved heifer scheme grant already.
