I presume the Deputy is referring to land on hands and not yet planted. At 31 December 1983 the total such acreage in the areas listed was 5,434 acres of which 2,408 acres constituted the plantable reserve. Incidentally, the total area under forest in these areas at that date was 16,229 acres.
