Vol. 357 No. 7

Written Answers. - Development of Dublin Hospital.

650.

asked the Minister for Health when he intends to approve the brief for the development of James Connolly Memorial Hospital at Blanchardstown, Dublin.

James Connolly Memorial Hospital has been designated as one of the six major general hospitals for the Dublin area. Preliminary planning of the development has already taken place. I am at present considering in the context of the capital allocation of my Department for the years 1985-87 when this project can proceed to the next stage of planning and onwards from that point to complete redevelopment. The planning brief for the development, which has been completed, is being examined as part of this process.
