Vol. 357 No. 7

Written Answers. - Beaumont (Dublin) School and Hospital.

651.

asked the Minister for Health in view of representations already made to him in relation to the case of a person (details supplied) in Dublin 1 and as a final or satisfactory reply on the matter has not as yet been received, if he will now give an up-to-date reply with regard to the request of this person to have fencing erected in the grounds of St. Paul's school and hospital, Beaumont.

The Minister for the Environment informed the Deputy by letter of 8 June 1984 that there were no funds at his Department's disposal for a project of this nature. The Minister added that he had transmitted the Deputy's representations to me. However, no formal application has been made to my Department by the Eastern Health Board or by the authorities at St. Paul's school and hospital, Beaumont, for a grant in respect of this project. Furthermore I understand that the authorities at St. Paul's would not consider such a project to be a priority.
