I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that a review of the taxpayer's liability for the year 1983-84 has been completed and a cheque in settlement of the refund due will be issued as soon as possible. The taxpayer's liability for 1984-85 now falls to be reviewed and, in this connection, the inspector will be in communication with the agents acting in the case requesting details of pay and tax deducted for that year. On completion of the review, any tax found to have been overdeducted will be refunded to the taxpayer.

I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that the appropriate tax refund was made to the taxpayer on 25 March 1985.
