Vol. 361 No. 3

Written Answers. - Whitechurch (Waterford) School.

150.

Mr. J. Fahy

asked the Minister for Education the reason for the long delay in the commencement of work on the extension to Whitechurch national school, Ballinameela, County Waterford.

My Department, on 12 September 1985, sanctioned a grant towards the cost of the proposed extension of Whitechurch national school, Ballinameela, County Waterford, and requested the Commissioners of Public Works to proceed with the detail design stage of the project. The issue of the formal sanction for the grant for this project and further progress with planning were dependent on the production of evidence of good title to the school site. This evidence was declared satisfactory by the Minister's legal adviser on 4 September 1985.
