A proposal for the provision of a breakwater and mid-tide landing stage at Portnablagh pier is being examined by my Department. The question of its inclusion in my Department's works programme for 1986 will be considered by me in the light of the availability of funds for necessary fishery harbour improvement works generally and commitments already entered into by my Department on other such works.
