Written Answers. - Medical Cards.

asked the Minister for Health if he will ensure that an urgent reply issues to a person (details supplied) in Dublin 12 regarding her application for a medical card renewal as it is three months since she appealed; and, in view of the fact that she has a young daughter suffering from asthma, if he will ensure that the card issues.

Eligibility for a medical card is determined solely by the chief executive officer of a health board.
