The preparation of contract documents for the proposed extension to Ballyhea national school, County Cork, is in hands and it is expected that they will be completed in about three months' time. The question of the invitation of tenders will then be considered and the outcome conveyed to the school authorities. It is not possible to say at this stage when building works will commence.
