The 1985 cattle headage grants are currently being paid and the person named should receive his shortly.

asked the Minister for Agriculture the reason for the delay in the payment of headage grants to a person (details supplied) in County Galway and when those payments will be made.
The father of the person named is the registered herdowner and applicant for 1985 EC suckler cow and calf premium and also cattle headage grants. The premium grants will be paid shortly but pending the outcome of investigations now in progress into a possible contravention of the Animal Health Regulations it is not possible to state if and when the cattle headage grants will be paid.
