Dún Laoghaire): On 3 January 1986 the number of persons on the live register at Dundalk employment exchange, Drogheda employment exchange and Ardee local employment office were 3,931,3,443 and 1,098 respectively.
Would the Minister agree that the figures quoted by him in his reply include parts of County Meath and the rural areas of County Louth in relation to the Drogheda employment exchange?
(Dún Laoghaire): This is a separate question and I would like to check that point before giving a positive answer. There is a problem with giving information such as this because they cover other areas just as the Deputy mentioned, and at times it can give a wrong picture as to the unemployment in a particular area.
Perhaps the Minister will supply me with that information?
