asked the Minister for the Environment, in view of the fact that contract documents were prepared for the Castletroy sewerage scheme, County Limerick, in 1983 when work on this scheme will commence; if finance is available for this scheme; and if there are any other circumstances which would delay this scheme.

While contract documents for this scheme have been submitted to my Department, Limerick County Council has yet to submit a certificate confirming that all preliminary arrangements in relation to the scheme have been completed. On receipt of this certificate the contract documents will be further considered in the light of existing commitments on the sanitary services programme and the level of finance available.
