I am aware of the situation at this roundabout. My Department has considered the proposal put forward by the local authority for the provision of traffic lights at this location. The Department have requested the local authority to appoint consultants to examine the position and recommend a solution to the problem as soon as possible. The entire cost of any approved works will be financed by the Department.
