asked the Minister for the Environment when a builders housing grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in Dublin 11.

There is no record of the receipt in my Department of an application for a new house grant from the person named.

asked the Minister for the Environment when payment of a house improvement grant will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Clare.

The grant will be paid as soon as possible.

asked the Minister for the Environment when payment of a house improvement grant will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Clare.

asked the Minister for the Environment when payment of a housing grant or mortgage subsidy will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Louth; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The receipt of additional documentation requested from the applicant is awaited.

asked the Minister for the Environment the level of grants now payable to a person (details supplied) in County Louth.

A maximum grant of £2,000 in respect of the carrying out of necessary repairs will be paid as soon as possible. The application, in respect of the provision of a bathroom, will be further considered on receipt of a report from the Department's inspector.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a house improvement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Louth; and the amount of grant payable.

The application was among those covered by the dispensation from prior inspection announced in February 1986. On receipt of notification of completion of the works an inspection will be carried out to determine the applicants eligibility for a grant and the amount, if any, payable.

280.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in finalising the house improvement grant application of a person (details supplied) in County Louth, in view of the fact that an inspection was carried out in October 1986; when final sanction will be given; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

There has been no undue delay in this case. Grants amounting to £5,214 have been approved in respect of the building of an extension, £2,000, and the carrying out of repairs to a pre-1940 dwelling, £3,214. On receipt of a further report from the Department's inspector the approval of grants for water, sewerage and bathroom facilities will be considered.
