My Department had agreed to grant-aid the provision of a new national school at Lettermacaward, County Donegal. The question of proceeding with the grant-aiding of a new building will be decided in the light of a review of enrolments, which show a steady decline in recent years. My Department will communicate with the school authorities as soon as the review, which has been requested, has been completed.
