A sketch scheme prepared by the school authorities' architect for the proposed permanent extension to the school referred to is acceptable in principle to my Department. As soon as certain minor points have been clarified and the usual check on enrolment trends carried out, my Department expects to be in a position to negotiate with the school authorities for a suitable local contribution and to list the project to preparation of tender documentation. My Department will write as soon as possible to the school authorities about these matters.
