asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce the number of cases and the amount of money involved in the past five years in which the IDA have (a) sought and (b) obtained repayment of a grant for failure to comply with a condition attached to it under the provision of section 37 of the Industrial Development Act, 1986 and of section 45 of the Industrial Development Act, 1969.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will list each case in the last five years under which the Industrial Development Authority have given loan guarantees under section 24 of the Industrial Development Act, 1986 and earlier enactments; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if the Industrial Development Authority have given aid towards the restructuring of industry under section 26 of the Industrial Development Act, 1986, and earlier enactments incorporated therein; if so, the firm who received aid and the success of the restructuring undertaken; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
I propose to take Questions Nos. 76, 77 and 78 together.
The details requested by the Deputy fall within the day to day administration of the Industrial Development Authority and are solely functions of the Authority. Because of the need to maintain confidentiality in dealing with client companies, the IDA do not, other than with the consent of the client, disclose details of incentives offered until such time as payments are made. For the Deputy's information, details of grant refunds to the IDA together with information on cumulative loan guarantees given by the IDA are contained in the Authority's annual reports, copies of which are available in the Oireachtas Library.
