Eighteen estates were disposed of in County Cavan last year and 85 remain for disposal. These estates came into Land Commission ownership at varying dates between 1975 and 1986. Under the terms of a Bill to be circulated shortly, it is hoped that disposal of all land remaining in the possession of the Land Commission can be expedited.
