Vol. 377 No. 1

Written Answers. - County Kerry Schools.

311.

asked the Minister for Education if schools which were formerly owned by the Poor Clare Order in Kenmare, County Kerry, have been purchased by her Department.

My Department has recently agreed terms for the purchase of the site (including buildings) from the Sisters of St. Clare.

312.

asked the Minister for Education when approval will be given for the provision of additional accommodation at St. Erc's national school, Kilmoyley, County Kerry.

While my Department has agreed in principle to grant-aid the cost of additional accommodation at St. Erc's national school, Kilmoyley, County Kerry, it is not in a position at present, because of the pressure on the capital available to it for the national schools building programme, to authorise completion of the architectural planning of the project.
