I met the Iranian Foreign Minister, Dr. Velayati, on 2 June during my visit to the UN in New York and raised the case of Brian Keenan with him. Dr. Velayai undertook to have inquiries made on our behalf. To date we have received no new information on Mr. Keenan's whereabouts.
