Vol. 383 No. 7

Written Answers. - Shooting Rights.

72.

asked the Minister for Energy the reason the Castlegregory gun club, County Kerry, did not receive shooting rights on lands which they have held for years.

The shooting rights which were let to the Castlegregory gun club on the former Ventry estate are the property of the Irish Land Commission and they are currently the subject of review in the light of the Government decisions to abolish the Land Commission and to establish a new semi-State company to undertake the development of the national forestry enterprise.
