I am aware that an oil spillage occurred at Dún Laoghaire Harbour on 29 June 1989. It is not possible to quantify the amount of oil involved. However, it was sufficiently small for the oil pollution officer, who visited the scene promptly, to decide that remedial action was not warranted.
