Ceist:60 Mr. Barry asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs if representations have been made to him regarding the commemoration in 1990 of the Battle of the Boyne; and if the Government have any plans to recognise this occasion.
Written Answers. - Battle of Boyne Tercentenary.
The Ulster Museum proposes to mount an exhibition in Belfast entitled "Kings in Conflict" to mark the Tercentenary and has asked the National Museum and the National Gallery to lend material from their collections for this exhibition. The Government are happy to meet this request and the necessary arrangements are already fully in train.
An Post also propose to mark the occasion of the Tercentenary with the issue of a special commemorative stamp.
