219 Mrs. Owen asked the Minister for Tourism and Transport the progress, if any, he is making in acquiring the necessary land for building the by-pass of the village of St. Margaret's, County Dublin, which is part of the new road network necessitated by the building of the new runway at Dublin Airport.

The Valuation Office is negotiating on my behalf at present with the relevant landowners for the acquisition of the necessary land for the construction of the by-pass of St. Margaret's village. I hope that these negotiations will be completed shortly and that work on the construction of the by-pass can commence soon.
