Ceist:42 Mrs. Taylor-Quinn asked the Minister for the Marine if he will give a detailed report on the damage done to fish farm cages and fish hatcheries around the country as a result of recent storms.
Written Answers. - Storm Damage to Fish Farms.
I have received no reports of damage having been caused to fish farm cages or hatcheries by recent storms.
My Department have, however, requested fish farmers, by letter, to advise on the nature and extent of weather related damage, if any, incurred in recent weeks.
