Ceist:89 Mr. Cowen asked the Minister for Finance if a tax rebate is due to a person (details supplied) in County Offaly.

The Revenue Commissioners have advised me that the taxpayer ceased employment on 28 February, 1989. A review of her tax affairs for the income tax year 1988/89 showed an underpayment of £169.32. The inspector of taxes has no record of a subsequent employment. Therefore the question of a refund does not arise.
