Vol. 398 No. 8

Written Answers. - Ground Rent Purchase.

Jim Mitchell

Ceist:

124 Mr. J. Mitchell asked the Minister for Justice if his attention has been drawn to the fact that a person (details supplied) in Dublin 8 has been seeking to purchase ground rent for some time, but whose application has been referred back several times by the Land Registry on the basis of a mapping problem when all other residents on this road have had no such problems; if he will confirm that there is no mapping problem; and that the application to purchase his ground rent can be processed by the Land Registry Office without delay.

I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that there is no record in the Land Registry of an application to purchase the ground rent in respect of the property, the details of which were supplied by the Deputy. If the Deputy lets me have the date of lodgment of the application or any other references which may be available I will have further inquiries made in the matter.
