Ceist:171 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Education the allocation which has been made for the Erasmus programme for the academic year 1989-90.

The overall budget of the EC Erasmus Programme for 1989-90 is 52 MECU which is the equivalent of IR£39.68 million; 50 per cent of this sum is allocated to student mobility. Ireland's allocation from the provision for students mobility in 1989-90 is ECU 311, 312 (IR£238,000).
