* Provisional.
Of the State agencies operating under the aegis of my Department, the ESB engage in various energy efficiency promotion activities which contribute to energy conservation, e.g. builders and developers are encouraged to use higher levels of thermal insulation and highly efficient space and water heating systems. The ESB actively promote a wide range of cost and energy effective applications and technologies. It is not possible to disaggregate the board's expenditure with sufficient precision to quantify these costs.
