Vol. 399 No. 5

Written Answers. - House Prices in Dublin.

Brian O'Shea

Ceist:

34 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for the Environment if he has satisfied himself that the price of an average private house in the Dublin area is still within the reach of a family on normal levels of income; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

On the basis of the information available it appears to me that persons on the average industrial wage and the typical first time purchaser have at present available a reasonable supply of houses at affordable prices in the Dublin area.
