Vol. 399 No. 12

Written Answers. - Visas for Somalian Citizens.

Donal Carey

Ceist:

68 Mr. Carey and Mr. Flanagan asked the Minister for Justice if he will remove the obligation of citizens of the State of Somalia to have a valid Irish visa for admission to this State, having regard to the contents of a report (details supplied) by the human rights organisation, Amnesty International dated 25 January 1990.

I have no proposals to abolish the visa requirement for Somalian nationals who wish to enter the State.
