Ceist:

68 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Finance when a person (details supplied) in County Waterford will be paid a refund of VAT in respect of a commercial vehicle which he purchased in May 1990; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I am advised by the Revenue Commissioners that there is no claim on hands for repayment of value added tax in this case.

The trader has been contacted and he has indicated that he will submit a claim on the appropriate form (VAT 3) in the near future.
