Written Answers. - Responsibility for Courthouses.

Ceist:

171 Mr. McCormack asked the Minister for Justice when his Department will take over responsibility for courthouses from local authorities as announced by the Government; and when the procedures and mechanism of implementing this decision will be relayed to the local authorities.

The arrangements to give effect to the Government decision are due to come into operation shortly and local authorities will be notified in due course.
