Vol. 403 No. 4

Written Answers. - Admission to Hospital.

Tony Gregory

Ceist:

219 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Health the reason a person (details supplied) in Dublin 7 who requires a brain scan and tests urgently has not been admitted to a hospital as requested by medical staff in another hospital which does not have the necessary facilities; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The admission of a patient to hospital is of course a matter for the hospital authorities concerned, in this case Beaumont Hospital, Dublin 9. I understand from Beaumont that this patient was admitted on 16 November 1990.
