Ceist:271 Mr. Flanagan asked the Minister for Justice if he has prepared the necessary regulations to accompany the Video Recordings Act, 1989; and when same will be published.

Preparation of the regulations has been underway over the past year. The first regulations dealing with the licensing of wholesale and retail video outlets are almost ready and I will be signing them shortly. The other regulations are also in the course of preparation and will be completed as quickly as possible.
