Ceist:89 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for Energy the percentage of our oil requirements which are refined at the Whitegate Oil Refinery, County Cork; and the location where the remainder is refined.

Approximately 35 per cent of our petrol and gasoil and 10-15 per cent of our LPG requirements are refined in Whitegate Refinery. The remainder, imported in product form by the private oil companies, are mainly refined in the UK. Some small quantities are refined in other locations in Europe.
