79 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Finance whether the Office of Public Works will accept public liability for the restoration of Carbury Castle, County Kildare; if fencing could also be arranged; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Carbury Castle is not in State care and the Office of Public Works is not therefore empowered to spend money on it nor to accept any liability in relation to it.
